Quick Start: Installing Plesk on Linux

Plesk can be installed easily on any Linux server we provide – whether VPS or dedicated.

The fastest way is using the official one-click installer:

  1. Connect via SSH:
    Log in as root on your server using a terminal or an SSH client like PuTTY.

  2. Start the installer:
    Run the following command:

    sh <(curl https://autoinstall.plesk.com/one-click-installer || wget -O - https://autoinstall.plesk.com/one-click-installer)

    The installer will automatically download the latest Plesk version and install the standard features that suit most users.

  3. Wait for the installation:
    It usually takes about 15 minutes. Depending on network speed and server performance, it may be slightly shorter or longer.

  4. Set up the admin account:
    After installation, a one-time link will appear in the console. Open this link in your browser to set your Plesk admin password.

  5. Activate your license:
    You can then immediately enter your Plesk key to activate your license. Plesk is ready to use.

  6. Optional: Adjust components:
    Later, you can add or remove Plesk components via the web interface or the console, depending on your needs.
