IP-Projects Server Panel – Quick Start

With the IP-Projects Server Panel, we provide you with a modern, central management interface.
Through the panel, you can easily manage, monitor, and secure your vServers, dedicated servers and networks.
This guide gives you an overview of the most important areas and functions.

Login and Dashboard

After logging in, you will be taken to the dashboard. There you can view your account information and the status of your two-factor authentication (2FA).
Under “Protection” and “Methods” you can adjust your 2FA settings at any time.
The left-hand menu guides you through all main areas: Customers, vServer, Dedicated Server, Network and Controlling.
A search field in the menu helps you quickly find specific functions.

Managing Joint Users

Under Customers → Joint Users you can create additional users for your account – ideal if several people need access to your systems.
In the “New Joint User” dialog, enter the contact details, language, email and permissions.

Managing vServers

Under vServer → vServers all your booked virtual machines are displayed.
The overview shows hostname, package name, owner, a custom label and current load.
You can manage your server using the icons on the right-hand side.

A click on the tachometer icon opens the management window:

  • Overview: Displays real-time CPU, RAM, network and disk usage.

  • Software: Mount or unmount ISO images, and select Cloud-Init images (predefined installation templates) for reinstallation.

  • Backups & Snapshots: Create and restore backups.

  • Access Data: Reset username and password.

vServer ISO Images

Under vServer → ISO Images you can add and manage your own ISO files.
In the “New ISO Image” dialog, enter the name, URL and owner.
After saving, the image is available in the server’s software menu for 24 hours and can be mounted directly.

vServer Network Configuration

In the network editor of a vServer you can view interfaces, IP addresses and VLAN assignments.

  • Network cards: Display MAC addresses, speed and VLAN IDs.

  • IPv4 / IPv6: Manage addresses, subnets, gateways and reverse DNS entries.

  • rDNS management: Adjust PTR records directly from the interface.

Managing Dedicated Servers

Under Dedicated Server → Servers you will find your physical systems.
The overview shows hostname, location and status.
Use the action icons to start installations, configure networks or open IPMI access.

In the detail view, several tabs are available:

  • General: Hostname, domain, RAM, RAID type, drive type.

  • KVM/IPMI: Access data for the mainboard interface. Changes here do not affect the real IPMI login and should not be modified.

  • Network: Listing of all physical ports with MAC addresses and switch assignment.

  • IPv4 / IPv6: Manage all address ranges, including gateway and rDNS entries.

  • Installation: Select operating systems for PXE installations (e.g. Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux, diagnostic tools).

Network Management

Under Network, you have access to VLAN, DNS and DDoS management:

VLANs:
Here you can view your VLANs and the associated IP subnets, and you also have access to traffic diagrams.

DNS:
Under RDNS IPv4 PTR and RDNS IPv6 PTR you can manage the PTR records of your IPs directly in the panel.
Simply enter the IP and the desired hostname and confirm with “Set”.

DDoS:
The DDoS area comprises three subsections:

  • Notifications: Manage alerts for attacks.

  • Attacks: Overview of current and past DDoS events including IP and timeframe.

  • Zones: Assign IPs to specific filter profiles (e.g. “FiveM”, “TeamSpeak”, “Web Protection”).
Unassigned IPs are automatically protected by the default filter if DDoS protection has been booked.

Controlling and Action Log

Under Controlling → Action Log all changes and actions are automatically recorded – ideal for traceability and internal control.

Security and Support

We recommend keeping two-factor authentication enabled permanently.
All changes to servers or networks are logged and can be viewed in the Action Log.
Our support team is available at any time by email or through the customer center.
Please include your customer number in email requests so that we can assign your request quickly.
