When is the web space package activated?
A webspace package is always activated immediately after a check by an employee.
How does the domain transfer work?
Depending on the domain extension, the domain transfer guidelines are different. For the domain extensions COM, NET, ORG, INFO, BIZ, CH and DE, for example, there is an AUTH code that has to be requested from the respective registry or the previous provider. With the help of the AUTH code, the domain transfer can then be carried out via an order or directly via our customer support.
Can I transfer a domain externally?
Yes, in this case we will inform you about our server IP address, on which you have to connect the domain in order to use our service.
How many domains can I connect externally?
We do not set any limit here. You can add as many external domains as you want to the web hosting package, as long as the number is within a moderate range, 10-20 domains.
How can I get an individual offer?
We will be happy to create an offer tailored to your needs. To do this, simply send us an e-mail/ticket with the required information, which we will reply to within 24 hours.
What is the maximum number of clients on one server system?
In order to enable an optimal performance of the website, we constantly pay attention to the lowest possible server load. Therefore, depending on the server hardware, only between 30 - 50 customers are operated on one server.
For how many visitors is the web hosting package suitable?
We calculate with our web hosting packages with a maximum simultaneous visitor quantity of 1,000 to 2,000 visitors. If this amount already leads to performance problems for other customers due to the PHP/MySQL queries involved, we will contact you to work out a suitable individual solution.
Which management interface is used?
We use the administration interface Plesk. This offers our customers an optimal range of functions for the administration of the web hosting packages.
Is an SSL certificate possible?
Yes, an SSL certificate is installed as standard with our business web hosting packages.
We use a firewall solution from Sophos. Here we rely on Sophos UTM firewall gateways, which are operated in a highly available computer network.
Are the business web servers redundant?
Yes, they are virtualized in a cloud and integrated into a highly available computer network.
Is it possible to use an external mail server?
Yes, but you must contact our customer support directly so that they can configure the DNS settings for you.
