If you don't want to check your email via the webmail page, but want to use your email client, you can of course set it up. Since there are many different clients, we can only give the general access data here.
To make the example as clear as possible, we will use the mailbox hallo@firma.de on the webspace web2.ipp-webspace.net as an example. You simply replace hello and firma.de with your e-mail address and domain here!
The access data for your mailbox is built up as follows:
Username: hallo@firma.de
Inbox server: Your web server (e.g. web2.ipp-webspace.net)
Outgoing mail server: Your web server (e.g. web2.ipp-webspace.net)
The password of the mailbox is also used for authentication.
The ports used are the default ports, so:
- POP3: 995 (SSL/TLS)
- IMAP: 993 (SSL/TLS)
- SMTP: 465 (SSL)
You can also get an individual view by logging into Plesk, switching to the Email section, and clicking the small one on the right side of the desired mailbox.
